About Me
Living among the beautiful Wicklow hills in Ireland, Singer/ Songwriter Noel Boland is no stranger to the music scene and has been gigging in venues throughout the country for over 10 years.
However, in early 2020 Noel decided it was time to start recording and releasing his own material and has hit the ground running since.
From an early age, Noel had a passion for American country music, influenced by many artists such as Garth Brooks, Keith Urban, George Jones and George Strait. You can hear both old and new styles reflected in his writing style and vocals.
In early 2020 Noel released two original songs which caught the attention of radio stations nationwide. Towards the latter end of 2020 Noel’s dream came true when ‘Always in My Heart’, an original penned song written in memory of his late mother, went straight to No.1 in the charts.
In December 2020 Noel won ‘Best Male Country Pop Vocal’ at the FP Country Music Awards. All in all, you could say 2020 was an amazing year from start to finish and in 2022 Noel claimed another award for 'Best Original Country Song,
Noel’s last four original songs ‘Always In My Heart’, ‘Out Of My Mind’, ‘Heart Don't Lie’ and ‘Again With You’ have all hit the No.1 spot in the charts with phenomenal radio and TV response. In early 2022, Noel signed his first publishing deal with renowned Irish company Bardis Music Co. Ltd.
Noel was crowned winner of the 2022 Cowboys & Heroes - ‘Search for a Country Star’ competition with another original song, ‘This Thing’, co-written with Irish country music singer Johnny Brady. This great upbeat song, with Keith Urban vibes throughout, was produced by the exceptionally talented Canadian singer / songwriter, and friend, Dan Washburn. The music was cut in Nashville by Chris Leuzinger, guitarist with Garth Brooks for over 30 years and currently touring with Garth Worldwide. Noel also had the honour of Garths fiddle player Jimmy Mattingly, play on his recent material, along with the awesome talent of the UKs Sarah Jory on pedal steel.
Noel has also penned a song with John Farry, renowned Irish songwriter and former manager to Irish star, Nathan Carter. This song, along with all other original penned songs, will be included on Noel’s upcoming album.
Noel’s debut album is soon due for release. This will include 10 original country songs with something for everyone - this is one not to be missed!
